Printable Reservation List for Staff
There needs to be a printer friendly list with customizable criteria for reservation checkout process for staff.
0 votesYou can use Reservations report for this purpose. Filter the reservations using the member dropdown in the report to get to the list of items reserved by someone.
This list can be exported to CSV and printed. -
Allow documents to be attached to members
Our members must sign an equipment loan agreement. It would be good if we could upload that document and attach it to a member.

This is one of the features we’re looking at having out before the next quarter.
There is a workaround to this however — create a custom field of the Checkbox type and provide the agreement as the checkbox label (or as a link if it’s large).
For example, the Custom Field’s Name could be “Terms and Conditions agreement”, and the checkbox value (label) could be, “I hereby agree to the Terms and Conditions as outlined ”http://www.companywebsite.com/docs/loanagreement.pdf“>in this company document” -
Correct the Total Asset Value chart
At the moment, it displays the value of asset added in the selected period. A real 'Total Asset Value' chart should sum the value from past periods to present day, given an increasing value (assuming only a small number of assets are retired).

Add 'Role' as a member template
For example, a new member of staff joins as a "Bin man". All bin men need: gloves, jacket, trousers, boots. These are flagged as not issued if he has not had some checked out to him. Or, they are ready for speedy issue as 'standard items' or something.

Allow coloumns to be chosen (or hidden) on reports
The Low inventory report currently includes "description" with no way to chose not to show this field. "Description" for our medical items contains drug information and is quite long, and causes the rows in the report to be extremely long. The option to customize columns shown would help this.
It is also unnecessary to have every field and every custom field on every report.

Add inventory upper threshold and integrate with reports
Currently, an alert can be issued when inventory fallen below a threshold. But then what? How does purchasing know how much to buy?
Adding a e.g. "Recommended stock level" or "Upper stock level" would allow the current stock to be subtracted from this number, giving the number of items that should be purchased. Integrating with a report would allow the number of items required to be added up across sites very easily, including if low thresholds have not been reach at other sites, but, seeing as the order is being placed, the difference between the Upper and Remaining levels could…

Fix cloning for multiple choice custom fields
When cloning items with multiple choice (check box) custom fields, the options are not displayed. Clicking Clone, you then get an error saying Field can't be blank. Then the fields are shown correctly, and you can select them and Clone.
For dropbox fields, only the selected value from the item being cloned is available for choice, but is not selected by default. Once the error is displayed like above, you can then select any of the drop down options.

Add the ability to set DEFAULTS that will auto-populate the fields in a new Asset Service/Asset Maintenance
It would be great if we could enable default settings when creating a new service record. So when I put an asset into maintenance it would automatically populate our desired "Expected Completion Time" of 7 Days and it would auto-populate whomever the preferred vendor is for that type of item or even the preferred vendor for the company. Right now it is kind of annoying to be required to set an "Expected Completion Time" AND a start time because the start time should always be whatever it is currently and we actually do not care about the expected completion date.

While marking an asset into Service, you can just check the “Under Service Indefinitely” checkbox and that will omit the expected return date, putting it into indefinite service. Does that not work for you?
