All asset page select options and/or "view all" at once.
in the main Assets tab it would be good to be able to select page 6 or 10 etc, without having to click on the page which is last in the selection area at the bottom of the page. for example i have 20 pages of assets, to get to page 4 i must click on page 3 then page four. to get to page 10 i have to click on page 3 then on the next furtherest away etc.
it would be also good to have the option to…

It would be great to create custom filters, for example I want to see all assets that have certain value in the custom attributes

add quantity option to assets
I understand that you can create quantities for inventory, but the problem is that you can not associate inventory to an asset. For example, I have batteries for all the gear I send out. No one needs to check these out individually, but If I have an asset for each (about 40) and I associate those assets then there is the chance of check out conflicts. If there was one asset with a quantity then I would know how many batteries I have and I could checkout the package and wouldn't have to jump through hoops to check out a…

Add reservation approval
I would like to be able to approve a reservation for a date range and have that asset then become unavailable for others to check out for that date range. This would avoid a lot of confusion with my students as we have camera equipment reserved weeks in advance.

Allow editable item ID code
I would like to be able to use RFID tags with this system, RFID is just a means of inputting a string of digits, but I would need to be able to assign those digits to an item. So instead of item 1 = a QR code that looks like this, item 1 = 89384098348.

When I clone an asset the document is attached and can not be removed or edited until created.

Multiple Item reservation/checkout
Can you set this to allow a user to request multiple items at a single time (not items in a package). Say I want Items A, B, D, & Z. Have them send to a Reservation Queue or check-out Queue so the administrator and user get the complete list in 1 email rather than 4 or 5 emails upon checkout or reservation.

No Idea, need help with the mobile app.
I need to scan an item via my mobile and update it's location. Is this possible? I can't figure out how to update the location from my phone.
1 voteYou’ll need to log into the browser based site to configure. Once logged in go to Settings → Advanced Settings
Check ‘Ask on Checkout’ for locationsNow if you use the mobile app to checkout, you’ll be prompted with a dialog that has a location field in it.

delete custom field
If you have a custom field that has been used by ANY asset, I see no way to ever delete it. No matter what you do, if it's a checkbox or multiple choice radio box field, there is no way to unselect that field so you are never allowed to delete it. This is becoming a big problem for us since we've had a few entries that are not correct. Now we can't go back and fix it since those assets have that field with a selected option.

Would like to see a custom attribute type that allows for using a drop-down box rather than radio buttons.

5 votesYou can now add “dropdown” custom fields. If you already have some that you had set up as Multiple Choice Radio Buttons, you can edit them to change their type to Dropdown.

Allow disabling of staff notifications (and change of roles)
I've noticed that there is no way to disable notifications to staff members. In addition, there is no way to change or add roles.
In our use-case, we are looking to track assets that are used by clients (not staff) and we do not want our clients to get notifications from this system, it's simply for internally tracking where assets are, who has them, and that their lifecycles are.
I would suggest that you consider some functionality that would enable disabling staff notifications (ie...is an email address really required?) and the ability to add new roles that perhaps don't get…

make it easier to access the scan label mode
I'm new to EZ Office Inventory but it seems that the only way to access the the scan label mode is when you first log in. After you're in the app I don't see anyway of getting back to the scan mode, except logging out and logging back in.

Add members to dashboard return calendar
It would be nice to see the member who is checking assets in and the equipment associated with that member instead of just a list of assets that are scheduled for return. Would also be great if I could click on that member's name and quickly take me to the list of assets to check in.

add any field to columns in asset list
add new columns and contents in asset list. For instance I created a custom field for iOS version and I'd like to always display that in the asset list columns
20 votesYou can now choose which columns you see for assets and inventory items from top right corner of the listing tables. Sorting preference is also saved. These settings are also preserved in thumbnail view.

asset check in through iphone
When I do a asset check in through my iphone, it doesn't not show that the asset is in my custody on my colleagues desktop.

Having a problem grouping Assets.
I am trying to group like assets together (for example all IPADS) yet the only IPADS that were grouped together were the ones that had a number in the quantity column. The other IPADS with no quantity listed were not included in the group. Any ideas?
