"Pending" Checked In/Out Status for Maintenance Period
I would love to be able to add a custom checkout status for items, or at least a "Pending" status. For instance, most of what we rent out are laptops. When a user returns the laptop, we would mark it as "Checked In" and the status changes to "Available." However, we have to image returned laptops before they are truly available again, and this may not happen for a day or two. So, I would like to be able to have options such as: "Check In" / "Check Out" ; "Make Available" or something similar. "Check In" would indicate that…

Alerts for users that items are over due
I think it would be great if we could send out a message via the system on the fly alerting people of overdue items. I understand that your system sends out automated emails? Is there a wat aside from going to the user to verify one was sent out?

Add a search function
It would be great to be able to locate an asset among 1000+ assets quickly. Or be able to quickly look up a certain employee and find the asset(s) assigned to him/her.

Add option to reset inventory database/configuration the beginning.
After running a test account, I would like to reset all my settings and fake/test assets to a fresh database so I can start up without any artifacts (of test or false data)

1 voteHave a look at Reports → Inventory Reports → Stock Summary. This report gives you the total cost and sale price for a stock quantity.

change the group of more than one asset at a time
if you have more than 1 person importing lists people often think of different names; ie mobile phone and phone. it would be handy if it could either pick up that there is already a similar group and do you want to add it to that group or make a new one. OR if you could select more than 1 asset and click actions and have an option to change group

When I select "print label" from the asset information page it would be nice to select which templet to use.

Reservations need work?
When i am on my Dashboard and looking at my calendar, I can not see current reservations. (Maybe i am missing something?)
The only way i can see reservations is to go to that specific item, and look at it's reservation, Only till then it shows that it is reserved, but does not specify my "special Note" which i write who it is for.

Edit Multiple Assets
a) To be able to assign one uploaded image to multiple assets
b) To be able to delete multiple assets at once

associate custom to group
This doesn't seem to work. I have a custom field I created and associated with only 1 of my groups, yet it shows up for all groups. This is an issue because I am using it for mobile phones and I do not want Android OS version to show up on iPhones and iOS version shouldn't show up on Androids. They show up on both.

Project
Is there a way to add a project drop down list. When someone checks out an asset they choose the project name also?
2 votesYou can add a custom attribute named Project. You would want to select ‘Display at check-in’ and ‘Display at checkout’ for this custom attribute.

custom fields updated on old assets
When the contents of custom list fields are updated, those should update on Assets too. Changing the order of selections or adding new selections to a field doesn't seem to update on Assets that already have that field.
1 voteThe custom attribute field name does change when that custom attribute is updated. For Multiple Choice, the choice options also update accordingly.
Are we missing something? -
Wildcard Search
I'd like to be able to do a wildcard search. For example, I have an asset labeled "6360", "6361", and "6362". I'd like to be able to type in "63*" and have it return all three of those products.
4 votesYour requirement should be fulfilled with our partial search that requires a minimum of 3 characters. So you should be able to do a partial search by typing in “636”

We assume you are referring to inventory. You can ‘add stock’ to add stock items and ‘new sale’ to remove them.
