Add the ability to delete assets
There has to be an easier way to delete assets. What if someone creates an asset by mistake or imports a huge spreadsheet that is incorrect and wants to delete the entries? There is now simple way to do this at the moment. I know you can retire an asset, but this seems like a workaround. There really needs to be a way to delete a group of assets when necessary.

links in the returns calendar window/widget
in dashboard, under the calendar, there's a listing of the returns expected for the month. Could these be linkable to the asset listing?

Multiple inventory items and assets with quantities for Reservations
We deal with a bunch of inventory in and out for events in our simulation center. We track over 700 items, and our events have a mix of multiple assets and varying quantities of inventory. A clean and efficient way of doing this would be very appreciated.
1 vote- Other than assets, inventory items can also be reserved.
- Also checkout our Cart feature: Settings → Add ons → Cart Module
You can collect assets and inventory items in a cart and then reserve these. -
Fix Add Inventory
When I add an inventory item for the first time the location shows in the main description but the Location field lower on the page has two lines no location, so I have been adding the item, then going in adding stock w/location and then deleting the from the stock history the original creation. It should be easier...:)

Make it possible to set the minimum threshold on inventory different.
I would like to be able to set the minimum threshold for some of my inventory items higher than others depending on the item and how often I have to reorder.
8 votesYou can set a minimum threshold specific to each inventory record. This value can be mentioned in Low Stock Threshold while editing/creating new inventory items.

barcode label not showing
When I create my own label and print an asset to PDF, the bar-code does not appear on the label. Am I missing something?

Change the settings to disable asking for a check-out date.
I would like the option to either enable or disable whether the software or mobile app asks for a check-out date or not.
My company's assets are checked out indefinitely since we work in large time frames. Every time we move or check an asset out, it requests for a check-in date. It would be extraordinarily convenient if we were able to disable this feature so that is saves time when checking out assets.

do mobile app users need to have scanning app too?
today I had a user with a samsung s3, with the ezoffice app, but he was unable to successfully scan an item, 3 times. I was able to scan, I noticed that my "Barcode Scanner" app was called up when I went to scan an item. Do we need to have both installed for proper scanning?

Keep Map Columns for Assets from snapping back
Every time I try to edit, skip, or map a column towards the end of the list, the columns list snaps back to the very beginning of the list on the far left. I constantly have to scroll right to get back to my spot in the list after every change just to finish mapping everything. It becomes this very time consuming back-and-forth motion just to update my records from an Excel sheet. I have about 20 custom fields so it always ends up taking about 10 minutes for what should be a very simple process. I am using the…

To have the option to display the data field name above the data on the label, rather than just the data itself. If I have a lot to display on the label, it could be difficult to determine what information is being shown.

Multiple Choice Custom Attribute at checkin/checkout with history
I have setup a multiple choice custom attribute but there is no way to have the selection presented at check-in/check-out of assets, please include this. We prefer having a selection (radio/drop down) for users to choose of the most appropriate comment, rather than typing it in manually; these selections need to be tracked as history as well. This will aid in standardization of comments within our organisation.

Scan multiple items for checkout
Allow users to scan multiple tools for checkout. I would suggest a mode which allows mobile app user to scan multiple tools for checkout/checkin, rather than having to check tools one at a time.

Need to be able to Service an asset from the mobile app
Currently no way to service an asset from the mobile app.

mass check out with custom attributes
Doing mass uploads of new assets and mass updates to existing assets allows for use of the custom attributes I have setup, but when doing mass check-in/check-out, I am unable to setup my own template and custom attributes are not available for field mapping. Please add this functionality, thank you.
1 voteThis suggestion has been implemented. Custom Attributes which you have selected to ‘display at checkout’ (or check-in) are now shown at checkout(or check-in) through mass actions.
