Latest Events details and timing/date
Would it be possible to allow one more field of data to show on the "Latest Events" area? I'd like to be able to see one more attribute for the asset/inventory e.g. a custom field. Also, would it be possible to show date and a time for the event, rather than how many mins/days ago it occurred?

Default to checkout mode
Mobile app should permit opening to checkin/checkout mode so field staff may check tools upon opening app.

Asset Photo from previously uploaded photos
Allow selecting a photo from another asset instead of uploading from my computer.

Option to Auto-Save Edit Changes
Any change I make should automatically be saved without needing to hit the "save" button at the bottom. Several times now I've edited something and forgotten to scroll to the bottom to hit save.

We recommend that you use your phone or your favorite app to edit the image.
Currently we do not have plans to implement a photo editing tool within EZOfficeInventory. -
include the option to have a QR Code for a group (not just assets)
I work for a furniture rental company and we use EZOfficeInventory to keep track of what's being checked out and checked back in on a daily basis. unfortunately, if we have an order to check-out 100 of the same type of asset (a chair for instance), we have to scan 100 individual QR Codes for that chair. That said, It would really be amazing if you had an option to generate a "group" QR Code, so I could just scan that code and specify how many assets from that group I'm checking out.

Date in Non US format
Can you tell me whether the date setting can be changed from US to Australian
MM/DD/YY to DD/MM/YY

Allow date formats other than USA
In Australia and many other countries the dates are written DD/MM/YYYY so when months and days are reversed when your USA format is fixed in, it is very confusing for all staff and will lead to errors. Perhaps allow customisable date format, or simply use the current system region date format?

We now have a Mass Edit feature. It’s quicker and easier to edit multiple assets from the Actions dropdown on asset listing.
Let us know if solves your problem. -
Add a "department" field for "members" (which should also can be called "employees")
It would be great to be able to run reports to determine which department an asset is located in.

Membership QR codes
Each member should have a QR code that is assigned to them. That way, you could scan a Member's QR code and have it correspond to their checkout history, as well as bulk checkin any assets they are returning.
This could be taken further into a Signature implementation that would legally bind them to any assets they borrow.
4 votesUpdate: While checking out assets from mobile, you can scan a barcode on employee ID card. This barcode should be the ‘Identification Number’ on the member detail page. You can edit a member to update this ID.
You can generate a barcode online using free services. -
Casper integration
It would be amazing if ezoffice could pull my inventory from Casper instead of me having to manually pull all of the information and push it into ezoffice. This would also keep everything updated in real time instead of relying on an admin or user to check in/out a laptop.

Non US defaults
Hi - I was wondering about:
- address defaults - it would be nice to add some customisation here to remove State and change Zip Code to Post code for example
- measurement defaults in the print label sections - Would be good to also have the ability to show measurements in mm.

1 voteWe believe that the thumbnails in grid view fulfill your requirements. (You can toggle the views from the buttons on left of the Actions on Items dropdown in asset listing.)
Also, there are significant enhancements to the thumbnail view coming up in our monthly release. -
add a report by location
Please create a report where we can drill down on our assets location at a certain point in time. This is essential to our operations in creating a "field ticket" for our services provided.

Support Software licenses
It would be nice to add support for tracking software licenses (where it was purchased, the license key, who it is assigned to, how many seats) etc.
