Allow actions on packages to include "add to cart"
It would be nice to be able to add multiple packages to a cart form the packages home page.

Allow Individual Pieces of a Package to be Audited
When a package is created it would be nice to be able to audit the individual pieces of that package. So for example if you have a cordless drill and flashlight together in a package you would be able to ask for an audit on the package where the employee has to acknowledge that they have both pieces.

Improve label editor
It is very difficult to use the label editor for small sizes (e.g. 1.1"x0.75" or 1.1"x1.75"). Text boxes overlap and it takes a lot of trial and error to get it right. If nothing else, I would like a way to edit the template at larger than actual size. It would be much easier to arrange fields.

Print a QR code for a location
Ability to print a QR code for a location so we can scan the qr code and it will bring up the inventory at that location.

I would love it if you could get back to the asset subgroup or just follow the same path you took when working on an asset.

Custom attributes on group page
It would be great to be able to open the group page and see at the top (or bottom) which custom attributes are associated with that specific group and also be able to edit them.
It would also be great to be able to edit the sub-groups custom attributes so that they are different from the main group. IE: We have a group for IT and Communications, but even though most of the assets in that group have the same attributes, the iPhones have some things that the Laptops don't and visa-versa.3 votes1) Custom Attribute listing and editing under Groups → Great suggestion. Documents are not fiunctional
You can attach documents and pictures and the like to an item, however the documents cannot be opened in the field, and they can be edited and deleted by anyone.
How do you open them, and how can you control what certain users can do to them?

We should be able to check in a lot of items using the shopping cart as well.

Multiple Filters in Browsing
When browsing inventories and assets, is it possible to stack multiple filters to more cleanly view specific items?
i.e. Filter > Location > SF Office.

make camera available for service tickets
Hi guys it would be really appreciated if you could make the camera available to capture damage/issue in the service ticket and it also makes the asset manager/administrator aware immediately of what is required - also why does the expected end date for a service ticket update when edited instead of the actual - doesn't make sense???

Asset Stock Scheduling Conflict
Asset Stock can be double booked and double reserved. EZOffice does not report conflicts for Asset Stock. Furthermore, you can not filter by availability for asset stock on a given date / time range. Please fix asap.

Allow 'Unknown' as a value
It would be helpful if we could add 'Unknown' into certain fields instead of having to enter erroneous data. For example 'Purchased on' or 'Vendor'

Purchased on is the date where you start the life cycle of an asset. By default it’s the date on which you created the asset. -
Allow user to manually arrange items in Asset list
I would like to be able to drag and drop the assets in my list to where ever I please. An asset list that is customizable and easily arranged would be better for sorting and locating assets. I know that we can already arrange with respect to group and other attributes but this never gets the arrangement exactly how I want it. If I could then move around things freely this would help out a great deal

Easier Bundle Creation
It would be really convenient to be able to check the assets that need to be added to a bundle and then select "Add to Bundle" under the "Actions" tab. Would be especially helpful to create a bundle for assets that were just imported from an Excel sheet and all being checked out to same location/user.

Please make the size of document/URL size bigger than 10mb. My company needs to downlaod bigger files to certain assets.
We were on the 15 day trial and loved it! The only setback, and big one, is that 10MB is not big enough to attach a video or pictures to certain assets. If the size was made bigger, my company would buy the Platinum package ASAP.

allow dates before today to be used for checkout date
Currently I can only select today's date as the earliest checkout date. I would be useful to select any date - e.g. if an item was given out without properly being included in the system; if it was not possible to record the checkout that day because of internet or power problems; and also for retroactively populating the database with data from a different system.

Thank you for the suggestion. Is this something the happens often in your organization? EZOI doesn’t yet accommodate past checkouts since it’s expected to use the system in real-time as company protocol. If accommodating past checkouts is important to your workflows I can have the suggestion forwarded to product management for review.regards

Create Custom Roles
Roles are currently fixed to "Staff", "Administrator", and with the right Add-on, "Supervisor". I would love to see more granular control of these roles, or the ability to create custom roles. For example, with this functionality you could grant users the ability to create their own bundles without granting Admin rights to the system. You could also give some users the ability to create/edit assets, but not delete or checkout. You could limit which users can transfer inventory or add stock WITHOUT the ability to delete/edit assets. This really makes the software more flexible by allowing delegation of specific tasks…

transferring stock to locations and field agents
Hello, we are a distribution company in Tanzania and would have liked to use your software to manage inventory that we have. We sell solar products in rural areas and it is difficult to keep track of our inventory. With EZ, we hoped we could have a simple, affordable platform to do this.
