Multiple Item reservation/checkout
Can you set this to allow a user to request multiple items at a single time (not items in a package). Say I want Items A, B, D, & Z. Have them send to a Reservation Queue or check-out Queue so the administrator and user get the complete list in 1 email rather than 4 or 5 emails upon checkout or reservation.

Package check outs..
For some items, it would be nice to do a "Package" check out. For example, If we had a basic camera "Package" that contains the camera, battery, case, lens, ect. we could just check out that camera package rather then going through and checking them all out individually.

Adjust what spots labels print to
It would be nice to have the ability to change the spot of where the label is printed. Often you may only print a few labels at a time and it would be nice to be able to reuse that same sheet of labels easily by adjusting the position. Also it would be cool to be able to download the print job directly through the web browser instead of having to go through the email first.

Just wanted to update that this feature is out! You can go to to the Print Queue (Bell icon → Print Queue) and specify where to insert the blank labels. E.g. from the index 4-7.
FYI the label index runs left to right, and top to bottom.Let us know your thoughts!

Adding/linking users to LDAP/Active Directory and performing SSO
I really don't like users having to maintain accounts on different services we use. SSO is a must in order to deploy a service like this to users in our company.

add new columns and contents in asset list. For instance I created a custom field for iOS version and I'd like to always display that in the asset list columns

Items can have more then 1 group
For example, if we had a group called "Cables", which would have all of our cables, and then sub groups for HDMI cables, head cables, ect ect

Make it possible to add any information to the dashboard calendar. Like in my case I want to be able to input my employees schedules in it.

14 votesIf you need to track locations on each checkout you have two options:
Option A:
i. Have location tracked on each checkout by enabling it from Settings → Locations → ask on check out
ii. Run a report to view assignments of assets with locations from Report → Assets → Checkout eventsOption B:
Create a non-login user with the name of a location and assign it the asset -
Check in location
It would be good to allow a user to select the location that an item is being checked in at. This will help track portable equipment that services more than one location/office.
Press check in and a drop down list appears listing the locations. User selects their location and the Assets location is updated.
You could get fancy and use the GPS in the phone to have the list select the current location which the user then just has to confirm or select another from the list.

Add reservation approval
I would like to be able to approve a reservation for a date range and have that asset then become unavailable for others to check out for that date range. This would avoid a lot of confusion with my students as we have camera equipment reserved weeks in advance.

Custom fields
UI is great. Easy to quickly understand and use. Please consider adding custom fields to the assets for additional descriptions.

1. creation
2. association to a particular group(s)
3. option to make it a mandatory field
4. option to have it visible for staff users
5. searchableIf you feel there ought to be other feature sets around custom attributes, please post as a new idea. I am closing this ticket.

Make it possible to set the minimum threshold on inventory different.
I would like to be able to set the minimum threshold for some of my inventory items higher than others depending on the item and how often I have to reorder.
8 votesYou can set a minimum threshold specific to each inventory record. This value can be mentioned in Low Stock Threshold while editing/creating new inventory items.

Allow QR Code pages to include documents/images
Putting QR Code labels on inventory is fantastic for overcoming the weaknesses of bar codes, but the web page is pretty limited. I have a lot of electronics and computers that come with manuals or instructions. I attach digital versions of these documents to my inventory asset and would love to make these documents available to my users or staff via the QR Code web page.
This would allow a user to easily access an associated manual by scanning the QR Code on a device. Or, an engineer or technician could access a wiring diagram or technical document associated with…

Inventory tracking
I work in an environment where not only do I need to check in/out assets each employee will take into the field, but I also need to track my inventory of supplies for production as well. Example, I ordered 10 items of "X", scan the QR code, "X" shows up, select "check-in", enter 10 for quantity. 10 of "X" is now added to the shelf and as employees check out item "X", I can see it's running low and reorder. I can also keep track of my spending towards product "X" by looking at the check-out history, use the history…

change the group of more than one asset at a time
if you have more than 1 person importing lists people often think of different names; ie mobile phone and phone. it would be handy if it could either pick up that there is already a similar group and do you want to add it to that group or make a new one. OR if you could select more than 1 asset and click actions and have an option to change group
