Multiple Asset Identification Number Edits

Would it be possible to have a table view to allow for the editing of multiple asset identification numbers at one time with out having to update and select the next asset. OR would it be possible to allow a sequential type clone process of the Asset Identification Number.

For example - we have 130 items that we need to track in our inventory, they all look exactly the same but all need their own unique AID. So we clone 25 at a time and then have to go back in and manually enter in AID's which takes time. If we could have a table view or way to sequentially create AID's this would speed up our process.

    Hi Steve
    Here is how you can do this quickly:
    1. Go to Reports -> All Active Assets -> populate the report -> Export -> CSV
    2. Once the CSV file is exported, edit the AIN's. If they are sequential, you can enter the first and drag the cell to automatically fill in the rest of them.
    3. Save the file and go to Items -> Assets -> Import from Excel -> Update Existing Assets.
    4. Select Column Asset# to map with Asset# and Asset Identification Number with Asset Identification Number. Skip the rest of the columns and import the file.
    That's it.
