Add option to include QR codes on reports
I would like to be able to have custom report for a member (currently possible) with the QR code for each item displayed as one of the columns (not currently possible).
Hi there
Could you please explain the idea more? Do you mean you wish to see all the scans (done via scans of the QR coded label) made by a certain member? That is already possible through the Asset Scans report.
If that is not what you had in mind, do please give more insight on your idea so we can have it forwarded to the product team for review.

Hi there
Thank you for the suggestion. Printed labels are integral to optimal workflow of EZOfficeInventory as there can be 100s of staff members (making printed lists impractical). Nonetheless I will forward your idea to product management and let you know when I get an update.

So when I go to Custom Report, and create a report for John Smith, I get a list of all the equipment issued to him, with fields like Name, Description, Price and so on. I can change which columns are displayed, but I do not have the option of having one of the columns be the QR code associated with each asset checked out to him.
For equipment where attaching a QR is unrealistic (e.g. hammocks that must be washed frequently, or uniforms) having a printed sheet listing every item issued means the Logistics staff can have a printed sheet of paper with info and codes. When someone is being audited or checking in or out gear (or transferring custody) the piece of paper's QR codes can be scanned once each item has been visually inspected, despite the fact the item can't have a QR attached.
One could have an Equipment List (a Custom Report with info and QR codes) for each member printed in a file. It is possible to do it all within EZOfficeInventory without printing a sheet of paper, but gives greater flexibility in where and how equipment can be checked, and also by whom (anyone can inspect an item then scan it with a smart phone or scanner, but not everyone could login, search the name, methodically verify each item from the list).
