Allow packages to be organized into groups or have a label that can be associated to a package to better sort

    Hi
    Thanks for informing us of this. We do have plans longterm to improve the usage of Packages. At the moment however they do not have groups nor do they have locations, simply because they're an exclusive COLLECTION of assets -- the composite assets themselves have groups and locations (which could be different, or the same, depending on how your items are set up)

    For context: The system I manage is for equipment we rent out and we base the equipment around packaged kits. In those packages are several assets for each kit, and instead of searching for a specific asset we search for the package.

    It would be nice to sort and search for each package by a group: i.e. Packages (section) - Cameras (group) - RED Package #1 (package)

    Adding to this - could each package could be have a Location associated to it?
