I work in an environment where not only do I need to check in/out assets each employee will take into the field, but I also need to track my inventory of supplies for production as well. Example, I ordered 10 items of "X", scan the QR code, "X" shows up, select "check-in", enter 10 for quantity. 10 of "X" is now added to the shelf and as employees check out item "X", I can see it's running low and reorder. I can also keep track of my spending towards product "X" by looking at the check-out history, use the history dates to plan for future needs, and etc.
