Integrate with Zendesk
This would be very helpful if this could integrate with Zendesk,could be all over this!

You can now integrate your EZOfficeInventory and Zendesk accounts.
To get started, have a look at Settings → Add Ons → Zendesk

The add on will cater to your basic workflow of having the checked out items listed with a person's ticket in Zendesk. These items will be linked to the EZOfficeInventory detail pages.
As for more details such as locations, we'll be adding them incrementally in subsequent enhancements to the add on. -

Our company's ideal workflow would be a Zendesk add-on so that when a user emails a new Zendesk ticket the email address would check with EZO and show all of the assets currently checked out to the user. This would be beneficial to those of us who are solving the tickets and prevent us from having to ask the end-user what type of device they have. It would also be EXTREMELY beneficial if it also showed the EZO building and room number of the user in the Zendesk ticket so that we would already know where the end-user is located as well. This would prevent us from having to reference something outside of ticket system and save lots of time.

This is great news. Our ideal use case is if a Zedesk agent could select (or type) an EZO Asset number into the ticket, (or a field associated with that ticket). This would then create a hyperlink to that asset in the EZO system from that Zendesk ticket. The ability to check out/in that device from the Zendesk window would be great as well. Looking forward to it!

We're exploring the possibility of a Zendesk add-on which enables the users to see the assets checked out to them when logging the ticket in Zendesk. They need to enter their email address in the ticket in order to see assets in their custody. They can then select one of these assets and send a complaint/ticket.

As Zendesk is a leading web-based system (which EZOI will also turn into) that lacks asset/inventory tracking, it could be a great business opportunity to offer that to their users.
