Mass Delete Option?
When I retire a object, is it deleted?

Hi
Only the account owner can delete items in mass. The option can be enabled from Settings → Company Settings → Asset Deletion → Allow account owner to delete in mass → Enabled.
Once enabled you can go to Items → Assets → select a bunch of items → Action → Delete.

Hi Cody
Currently the way to delete a retired asset is to re-activate (un-retire) it using Actions -> Activate and then to mass delete them as necessary.
We've forwarded a ticket regarding this to product management for review, it's a possibility that this is a bug.regards

I have followed these steps, bet when I filter Retired items (in this case, items entered in error), then select them using the checkboxes (or the Select all checkbox), then click Action, then Delete, I get a message saying "Deleting 0 items" explaining that all services etc will deleted too (but that there aren't any). Clicking delete leads back to the list of items, with nothing actually deleted.
I have logged out and in again, and have tried selecting manually and using the select all checkbox.

I think they are request the possibility to delete multiple items at once, like you can with retire. At the moment, you have to individually edit an item to delete it (e.g. I entered 20 items incorrectly, now I have to click edit 20x on 20 items to delete, rather than selecting with the checkbox the 20 items and then clicking "Delete selected"

Hi
Retiring if different from deleted. Retire lets the History of the Asset remain in tact where as delete completely wipes it from EZOfficeInventory.regeards
