  1. Remove the check-out inheritance from assets when cloning.

    When cloning an asset to save setup time, the member checking out the original, checks out the clone as created. The administrator must check in the asset after the clone is created. This generates an erroneous check-out email notification to the member that checked-out the original asset.

    This should not be happening. All newly created clones of an asset are in available state.
    Can you send us an email at support@ezofficeinventory listing the exact steps when you saw the check out being copied to the clone. We’ll take a detailed look into what caused this issue.

  2. Could the first image uploaded automatically become the display image?

    If I upload an image after I have added an item, I have to first upload it and then set it as display image. It seems like a bit repetitive and unnecessary step. Thank you!

  3. Allow for rotation edits in the label designer to be seen without Preview.

    It would be nice to actually be able to rotate the boxes yourself and see the change as you do it instead of having to go to the preview screen. It's odd to look at the jumbled boxes that don't fit together and then go to preview and see how they do.

  4. Searchable Comments

    In the search is there a way to look for specific comments?
    I typed in a phrase in search or name but it does not bring up that asset with the previous comment.

  5. More Customizable Alerts and Access levels

    We would like to see customization so that individual Admins can get alerts about tools that are tied to specific locations only. Additionally being able to assign locations to specific Admins and all related alerts for that particular location is defaulted to go to those Admins only.

    It would be nice to set which custom attributes a specific user gets alerts for rather than all of them.

    Having a third level of user so that field users can be set to only be able to check in assets that are on a location they are linked too (see above suggestion…

  6. Sorting Groups by location

    Really need sorting Groups by location to see what´s available and checking out different Assets from different groups without being thrown back to default view and start over filtering for each assets.
    Would like to be able to customize my default view on Assets as well.

  8. More detailed privledges for Members.

    It would be nice to be able to give slightly more detailed privileges for members. For instance, I would like some staff members to be able to add and edit assets but not delete them or be able to have administrative privileges FOR members and the system as a whole.

  10. add quantities to assests

    I would like the option for a multi-checkout capable assets(ie, Sandbags, cstands, low ticket items, etc.). I don't want to put barcodes on Sandbags since they won't stay on them over time. I want to be able to use one Asset to check out/in quantities.

    I am having a hard time creating a decent looking QR code that I can use with a label this size (Avery 5126). Everything looks off-center and terrible. Is there anyway someone can help me with this?

  12. E-mail Vendor when creating a service

    I like the new Service screen Thanks. I would like to see when you start a service and you enter a (service preformed by).
    I use vendor businesses and employees in the vendor section that i can pull up.
    Say i put in the name Bryce Davidson i have him on my vendor list. then i can put in the service and the date i expect the work to be done and when i create a service it will e-mail him this information. This way i can create tasks for my 15 employees ahead of time or from home. Now…

    I want to get a email when a asset is under repair comment so I can give this info to bosses so they know when a asset is being repaired.

    Would it be possible to customize the dashboard for staff entering the system? For example to add any needed announcements, optionally launch them into the asset/inventory catalog, or instructions on how the company would like inventory items requested?

  15. Similar to "Scan Multiple Items for checkout"

    Let user also set new location, so that not only do they check out multiple items at once, but indicate which location they will be transferred to, or received at. We need one person to be able to quickly scan and check out 50 to 100 items, and list them as on a truck or in a new location.

  17. Latest Events details and timing/date

    Would it be possible to allow one more field of data to show on the "Latest Events" area? I'd like to be able to see one more attribute for the asset/inventory e.g. a custom field. Also, would it be possible to show date and a time for the event, rather than how many mins/days ago it occurred?

  19. Option to Auto-Save Edit Changes

    Any change I make should automatically be saved without needing to hit the "save" button at the bottom. Several times now I've edited something and forgotten to scroll to the bottom to hit save.
