Yes you can delete the locations you no longer need, however, a location will not be deleted if an asset is associated with them.
To delete a location go to items > locations > scroll down and click on the locations name, this will open up a detail page for the location. Check to see if there are no assets associated with the location and hit delete. To delete the locations with associated assets you can select all the items and go to actions > edit and assign the assets to a different location.
An error occurred while saving the comment I have emailed you separately. Can you let us know which locations you want to delete so that we can better solve this?

In a packages, a set of assets are bound to one another. They’re are always checked out or reserved together.
Asset Stock adds some complexity to it which we’re avoiding for now. We can take this up if there are more votes to this suggestion/An error occurred while saving the comment @James your request has been noted I will let you know as soon as we have an update on this

An error occurred while saving the comment After you have checked out items to your employees you can request them to audit those items (go to items-> select item-> request audit on the right side). The staff user can confirm this audit by going to item-> select item-> acknowledge possession. Once items will be acknowledged by staff users you will no longer see audit pending.
The audit feature can also be set to verification using barcode/QR code scanners. For this go to name ->settings->company settings->audit feature->enabled->check "Require asset label scan for audits."

Hi Stephen
Thanks for writing in and for providing feedback on the new app. I’ll be happy to forward your comments to the product management team for future updates, however could you provide more specifics first?
1 where and how (i.e. on which screen or event or process) is it difficult to recognize if the app is frozen or loading info?
2 What specific steps do you perform after which the action arrow freezes?regards
An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Steve,
I hope you're well. We have tried contacting you via email and calls several times. Left you a number of voicemails as well as email messages. We're calling the number added in your company settings, should we call a different number? We was hoping to getting in touch with you so we can resolve whatever concerns you have been having with the new app. Please get in touch with us at support@ezofficeinventory.com

Hi
You can already create service tickets on assets that are checked out. Open up the assets details page, go to the Services subtab and press Create Service Ticket. Is this what you’re looking for? Try it out and let us know.
regards
An error occurred while saving the comment Let me discuss this with the product team and get back to you. We may have more questions for you.

Hi Matthew, thanks for writing in.
While marking an asset into Service, you can just check the “Under Service Indefinitely” checkbox and that will omit the expected return date, putting it into indefinite service. Does that not work for you?
regards

Hi Michael
Thanks for writing in! You’re right, the Purchased On column isn’t yet sortable in the item listings. The team has been notified and are working to make it sortable (ETA this Friday). I’ll let you know once the update is made.In the meantime, you can press the Export to CSV button (beside the column customization one in the listing table) and then sort the items in excel in the meantime. Can you work with that?
Let us know if you’ve any more questions or concerns.
regards
An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Michael,
We've updated the system. You can now sort by Purchased On date in the item listings. : )Let us know if you face any problems.

An error occurred while saving the comment The Asset Identification Number (or AIN) is a unique identifier helping you track your assets with ease. Here's some more information on how you can use AINs:
http://faq.ezofficeinventory.com/faq/identification-number/
The error message is simply letting you know the AIN you put in has already been taken. Remember, they must be unique in order to be used effectively!

Hi
That’s not possible at the moment. Zendesk tickets are tied to their custodians, which only happens through checkouts.
Could you tell us more about what you’re trying to accomplish and why checkouts cant work with that?regards
An error occurred while saving the comment Would it help if you could create one general user that everyone can use to enter these tickets in zendesk? This user can be reflected in EZOffice and a service ticket can be started for the item.

We implemented QR codes that can have custom field data included in them. Would that work for you?

An update on this. Your suggestion is still in the review queue, but there's a workaround -- instead of editing every item individually in your filtered list, simply select the items you wish to make a mass change to, then go to Actions -> Edit.
Will that work for you in the meantime?regards
An error occurred while saving the comment Noted. I'll be discussing this with the product management team and will let you know.

Hi Jen
Thank you for the suggestion. We have forwarded it to product management for review.regards
EZOfficeInventory SupportAn error occurred while saving the comment Hi James,
You can use Cart Custom fields to add a Name field to Carts. Now go to the Cart view and customize the list view by clicking on the three vertical dots on the right side of the columns. Add the Name field as one of the columns and you can view the Name for each cart. This way each cart will have a name, you can see it on the list view and also print it out if needed.
Another great way of handling this, and what most of our customers do, is to add a Project Name of Event Name custom field to items. Make the settings for this field to be displayed at reservations and check outs. This was the items you see in your current cart will have the name of the project or event the cart is being prepared for.

Hi James
Thanks for the suggestion. Can you provide us insight as to what you’re trying to do, so we can better evaluate your request?regards
An error occurred while saving the comment Hi
Thanks for informing us of this. We do have plans longterm to improve the usage of Packages. At the moment however they do not have groups nor do they have locations, simply because they're an exclusive COLLECTION of assets -- the composite assets themselves have groups and locations (which could be different, or the same, depending on how your items are set up)regards

Hi
How vital is this to your EZOI use?
FYI you can utilize Bundles which are like loose, non exclusive packages. Their reservations show up as a single entry in the reservations tab.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi
Thanks for informing us of this. We do have plans longterm to improve the usage of Packages. Currently what you can do is to open a Package and instead of reserving it directly, press Add To Cart instead. Then go to the Cart to reserve the items. Since it was a reservation made from a cart, it'll show up as a single reservation.
Try it out and let us know what you thinkregards
