An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for explaining what you want to achieve with EZOfficeInventory. Setting up inventory and tracking sales is easy and straightforward with EZ.
If you're moving around in villages, you can also use our mobile app to scan barcode/qr code to record a sale quickly and conveniently. -

Hi Clinton
Can you elaborate on what auto-capture QR means?
EZOfficeInventory does offer the ability to scan in barcodes when inserting you new assets into the system.regards
EZOfficeInventory SupportAn error occurred while saving the comment Hi Clinton
Thank you for the details. The reason you have to tap completed is because you can scan up to 25 items at a time and then press completed once.
Otherwise it would be cumbersome for most people to scan one item at a time, perform an action on the item and then scan another item.
Hope that clears it up. Let us know if you require more information.regards

Hi Nolan
Thanks for the suggestion. We already have advanced searching on the mid term product roadmap. That said, for now, you can create a list of assets while searching using the small downward arrow button inside the search bar.
It allows all assets to show as a listing on top of which columns can be filtered and sorted to find the correct assets.
If you have a certain criterion to filter specific assets, let us know on support@ezofficeinventory.com and we will assist in finding the fastest way to search for them.regards

Thank you for responding. How does this feature fit into your workflows? Your answer will help us make it's case to product management.regards
An error occurred while saving the comment Nolan, a follow-up: Note that EZOI does have additive filtering within the items view. Go to Items -> Assets/AS/Inven and click on the Custom Filter button. You can now set additive filters with the Create New button to refine your results, and then save the filter with a Name to bring it up quickly (e.g. repeated usage) in the list view. Does that help?
An error occurred while saving the comment The groups, locations, and vendors themselves are searchable. Another feature of the item-list view is the ability to customize the columns to show the groups, location, vendors and other asset details, and then being able to sort them. Does that help?
I'll be forwarding your idea to product management and will let you know when we've an update.regards

Hi there
Could you please explain the idea more? Do you mean you wish to see all the scans (done via scans of the QR coded label) made by a certain member? That is already possible through the Asset Scans report.
If that is not what you had in mind, do please give more insight on your idea so we can have it forwarded to the product team for review.

Thank you for the suggestion. Printed labels are integral to optimal workflow of EZOfficeInventory as there can be 100s of staff members (making printed lists impractical). Nonetheless I will forward your idea to product management and let you know when I get an update.

Hi
If the report exceeds 500 rows, it has to be emailed over. If less, it is directly downloaded.
That said, can you check your spam folder if the email is going there?regards

On Edit Items page, the field validation does not allow me to enter nothing into the field and save.

Thank you for your query. Can you share more details on which of the fields are you trying to keep empty?regards
EZOfficeInventory SupportAn error occurred while saving the comment You can go to More -> Custom Fields and verify by editing the custom field if it has been made to be mandatory. If the field is mandatory it will need to have a value once the edit page is opened.
If however it is not mandatory and still requires a value, you can email the name of the custom field to support@ezofficeinventory.com so they can look into it.regards

An error occurred while saving the comment Thank you for the responses. Any item which is part of a package and has a QR code/barcode, when scanned will take action on the whole package. So a label can be used on the pallet for any of the items inside.
Alternatively, we are also looking to add labels for locations. You would be able to track locations, scan them and pull out items which are in that location.

The cart feature can be used to perform this action. All you need to do is go to the cart and click on add items. You can type the items here or scan a bunch of them using a handheld scanner and hit checkout to do all of them at once.
Remember, if not turned on, the cart can be enabled from Settings -> Add Ons.
Let us know if you require further information.regards

Yes you can place photos on your labels. To do that, you need to either have the photo set as the thumbnail for that asset or at-least have it in your document library in the Items -> Documents tab. Once the image is available, you can go to More -> Print Label Templates -> Edit your template and you will find two options 'Library Image' and 'Display Picture'. You can drag either of these in your label.
If you chose the Library Image option, after dragging and dropping in your canvas, you can double click the button and it will allow you to chose an image. Remember this image will be effective for every asset you are printing using the template so if you need a unique image for every item, you should exercise the thumbnail option.regards

An error occurred while saving the comment To search for asset numbers even if they are less than three digits, enter the '#' as a prefix. For example if you want to search for asset number 2, you can put '#2' in the search bar. It will directly bring up the asset details page.
