On the app, this would be a simple work flow - you can already select the items and hit Verify, but it current produces an error saying you're not allowed to do that. If this was implemented, it could just confirm verification instead of reporting an error.

    HI
Thank you for the suggestion. Is this something the happens often in your organization? EZOI doesn’t yet accommodate past checkouts since it’s expected to use the system in real-time as company protocol. If accommodating past checkouts is important to your workflows I can have the suggestion forwarded to product management for review.

    regards

It is useful for migrating from another system, and for when the record has not been kept up to date. It shouldn't really be part of the workflow, but e.g.a supervisor returns to work after leave and finds items that have been returned but not Checked In, it would be useful. Seems like an easy fix too.

The Filters on the inventory page seem like they should do this, but selecting "Low stock" displays all items - it may be broken. If not, please add Low stock by Location Threshold as well.

    Hi there
Could you please explain the idea more? Do you mean you wish to see all the scans (done via scans of the QR coded label) made by a certain member? That is already possible through the Asset Scans report.
If that is not what you had in mind, do please give more insight on your idea so we can have it forwarded to the product team for review.
    regards

So when I go to Custom Report, and create a report for John Smith, I get a list of all the equipment issued to him, with fields like Name, Description, Price and so on. I can change which columns are displayed, but I do not have the option of having one of the columns be the QR code associated with each asset checked out to him.

For equipment where attaching a QR is unrealistic (e.g. hammocks that must be washed frequently, or uniforms) having a printed sheet listing every item issued means the Logistics staff can have a printed sheet of paper with info and codes. When someone is being audited or checking in or out gear (or transferring custody) the piece of paper's QR codes can be scanned once each item has been visually inspected, despite the fact the item can't have a QR attached.

One could have an Equipment List (a Custom Report with info and QR codes) for each member printed in a file. It is possible to do it all within EZOfficeInventory without printing a sheet of paper, but gives greater flexibility in where and how equipment can be checked, and also by whom (anyone can inspect an item then scan it with a smart phone or scanner, but not everyone could login, search the name, methodically verify each item from the list).

    Hi there
Thank you for the suggestion. Can you tell us more about your business and why this feature would help? The info could help make the case with product management.
Let us know if you’ve any other questions.
    regards

We are a wildlife conservation organisation, but we provide support to law enforcement patrol teams. We have 6 teams of LE: 2 patrol teams, 1 admin team, and 3 guard teams. Each member of the 2 patrol teams needs e.g. backpack, hammock, flysheet, boots, knife, water bottle. Each guard team needs a difference sized backpack, and a hammock. Whilst the members of the teams will change over time, the equipment anyone filling that role will need remains the same.

Using something like the asset template, but for Role, I imagine one could Add member, select the template/role, and have some information pre-filled (e.g. Patrol team) and have a list of gear needed. This list might add a shortcut to issue gear - maybe selecting from unissued stock and presenting a Checkout button.

It may be a little complicated to implement. But I imagine lots of organisations have a standard set of gear that should be issued to a Role type. Highlighting which Members in each Role do not have X, Y, or Z could be useful.
