    Hi Jana
    Thanks for the idea! We have an importing feature in EZOI as well that can help you set up large numbers of (similar and dissimilar) assets: http://blog.ezofficeinventory.com/how-to-import-items-from-excel-to-ezofficeinventory/
    In the case of wanting to ‘clone’ an asset, simply create one row in the import spreadsheet, then duplicate it. In the duplicates, change the AIN number only.

    Hi Jana
    Thank you for the suggestion. We have this feature in our sights but do not have a timeline for it at the moment. As we see more requests come in for it, we’ll be sure to implement it.
    In the meanwhile you can always remove the redundant rows from the spreadsheet. You can also go to Reports → All Active Assets and filter your asset listing to your preference, and then export that report.
