Service ticket by groups
To be able to create a service ticket by groups. So that you don't need to enter the same text for every asset in that group. This being very time consuming.
You can now start/end the service of multiple assets from the Actions dropdown on the asset listing.
In your specific case you might want to do this through the group’s detail page.
Summary of the new workflow:
- Starting a service puts an asset into maintenance state. It becomes available when you ‘End Service’.
- You can still add service tickets to an asset from Asset Detail Page → Services → Add a Service Ticket. This will merely enter a record and not put the asset into maintenance state.

We are planning a enhancement to significantly improve the services workflow. Through this, you will be able to service multiple assets. We will keep you posted with the developements around this feature

My thought was that for example service the air filters on 29 air conditioning units. Instead of scanning each one and doing a service ticket for each unit scan any one of the units put in a service ticket then check a box so when you add the service it will clone everything in that group and show all filters serviced in all units. this would be good for us we service multiple asset in large quantities.

can you elaborate this. The purpose of service tickets is to track any service thats carried out an asset and isnt tied to the group.
