Retired Assets Don't Show Up in Search
I don't want to do a search and see retired assets. The ideal interface would be a default search on non-retired assets, and then a checkbox on the side indicating you'd like to include retired assets, as well.

Reports
Be able to view inventory at various locations. We have the same item at multiple locations but cannot run a report that shows the quantity of a single item at separate locations.

Add option to reset inventory database/configuration the beginning.
After running a test account, I would like to reset all my settings and fake/test assets to a fresh database so I can start up without any artifacts (of test or false data)

Asset listing "Edit" button
It would be really nice to be able to click on an Edit button when viewing a list of assets instead of having to click on the asset and then click on Edit.

When I edit a group it takes me back to the beginning. I would like it to take me back to the asset group I was in. Would ave 2-3 steps.
Also, would like to be able to alphabetize.
2 votes- When you finish editing a group, you land at the detail page for that group.
- Group listing is alphabetically sorted. You can click on the ‘Group Name’ column-heading to change the sorting order.

assign future
I would like to be able to assign an item starting at a future date to a specific user.
Example:
If two users would like to reserve the same item in the same time period I can only have it checked out to one person at that time. If i have a similar, comparable item that person 2 can use, rather then to ask them to reserve similar item I would like to be be able to change that item in the reservation so that person 2 can still have equipment, or check that item out to them so that…

Keep Map Columns for Assets from snapping back
Every time I try to edit, skip, or map a column towards the end of the list, the columns list snaps back to the very beginning of the list on the far left. I constantly have to scroll right to get back to my spot in the list after every change just to finish mapping everything. It becomes this very time consuming back-and-forth motion just to update my records from an Excel sheet. I have about 20 custom fields so it always ends up taking about 10 minutes for what should be a very simple process. I am using the…

Send an alert for inventory items when they reach a customizable number....ex.) 5 or 10 left and email alert gets sent to admin....

Fix Add Inventory
When I add an inventory item for the first time the location shows in the main description but the Location field lower on the page has two lines no location, so I have been adding the item, then going in adding stock w/location and then deleting the from the stock history the original creation. It should be easier...:)

Ability to Save Custom Reports
Once i have created a custom report I would like to be able to save that reports setup for future uses without having to set it up again.

Packages to Include Inventory Items Also
In education we may use a number of inventory items over and over as each class comes in over a period of a week. If inventory items can be made into packages, it might streamline the process for our faculty.

Need to Be Able to Choose a Location When Reserving an Asset
When making a reservation we need to be able to choose the location the reservation is for as well as the individual.

The location only shows up if it’s configured to be ‘asked on checkout’ in settings. -
Make Reservations Editable
We would like to be able to move the dates of a reservation without having to cancel it and remake a new one.
We would also need the ability to change / delete reservations from the mobile app.
We also need staff users to be able to see all reservations. Not just reservations they have created. Each staff user would only be able to edit their own reservations.

Edit groups in multiple items
I would love to be able to edit the group on multiple items when you have multiple selected. Under actions this is one field I don't see and it would be nice to move several items at once to a sub group instead of going into each item.
2 votesThis feature is already available. You can change the group or subgroup of a number of items in bulk from the edit option in Actions drop down.
On the edit form, hit the Change Group button on the right to move items across groups and subgroups.

Check availability before adding bundles to the cart
Currently when you add a bundle to the cart it takes the first currently available items in each group/subgroup and adds them to the cart. That is fine if someone is checking out the equipment that day, but when future reservations overlap it is a bit tricky.
Adding the ability to enter the reservation dates before bundles/items go to the cart could then allow the software to pick from the items
2 votesYou now get ‘date fields’ to bring in only those assets that are available during this date range.
We’ve also added a clash check feature to cart. You can enter a date range to ensure that the items in your cart are available during this time period. -

Is there a way to change the photo of an asset

Asset detail page → Images and documents → Select the image that you want to set as display → hit Set as display imageThis is not supported in mobile app at the moment and we’d determine its priority in a few days and plan it accordingly.

Allow subgroups to be in filter of mobile app
I have a lot of assets under one subgroup and it would be nice if I could simply filter to the subgroup in the mobile app to check out the tools
2 votesOn mobile when you choose a group under filters and that group has some subgroups, you’re given an option to choose a subgroup.

View location history
I would like to see the location history of an asset. I.e. what the location was changed to, when it was changed, and by whom. I can view history for custom attributes if I enable the "save history" option. I would like to see something similar for asset location.
The Check In/Out History feature shows locations, but only for Checkin/Checkout events. We often edit locations manually without an associated event when an item is moved.
