My intent behind tracking services on Asset Stock is not individual tracking but more for "burn rate" and ensuring we enough asset stock to carry out client requests.

Here's a more specific example. We have 1000 widgets that we use for client projects. We require bundles of 200 widgets for each project job. Due to wear and tear, we now have 75 widgets that need repair. At this point, I have to "check-out" 75 widgets to myself, place a comment field indicating that 75 widgets are being serviced. I must do this in order to ensure we don't accidentally schedule 5 concurrent jobs (@200 widgets each) before the 75 are returned. Instead of "checking-out", I could also retire and unretire the 75 widgets.

My point is that this is a workaround. Just because I'm not tracking each widgets individually, doesn't mean that a) I don't want to track repairs to asset stock, or b) there isn't value in tracking repairs to asset stock.

Glad to hear of the planned updates in October. Thanks!

Also agree with this suggestion. The cart is a great feature but is very underutilized in my opinion. Mass check-ins, check-outs, service requests, editing - all could be handled via the cart system.
