I've created a user who has oreserved some equipment.
How, as an Admin, do I approve it all?
1 voteAt the moment, everyone can reserve equipment but you as an admin can Cancel that reservation.
Staff Reserves → Admin can Cancel it or check the items out to that personWe’re working of a work flow where:
Staff requests a reservation → Admin approves/deny it and then the reservation is made
It’s part of our December release (shooting for 3rd week of Dec) -
Custom attributes on group page
It would be great to be able to open the group page and see at the top (or bottom) which custom attributes are associated with that specific group and also be able to edit them.
It would also be great to be able to edit the sub-groups custom attributes so that they are different from the main group. IE: We have a group for IT and Communications, but even though most of the assets in that group have the same attributes, the iPhones have some things that the Laptops don't and visa-versa.3 votes1) Custom Attribute listing and editing under Groups → Great suggestion. Identification Numbers are also used for barcodes in EZOfficeInventory. If you have a an Identification Number associated to an item and you scan the barcode with the exact sequence, this item is pulled up. Similarly you can generate barcode labels.
If your sequence numbers have special characters, you can add a custom field called e.g. ID and track them using this filed. Custom fields can be configured from Items → Custom Attributes

QR code for adding/removing stock numbers
I'd like to be able to print QR codes for inventory items where you can scan it and one touch sell/add stock to the item. This would increase our efficiency.

I would love if along with the asset image library there was just an asset library so that it would be a lot quicker when adding assets.

Allow custom fields to scan data from barcodes
Hello! It would be great to allow a custom field to scan a barcode to enter data.

make groups the default tab that opens under items.
I have introduced over 200 people to the system and it is way easier for them to digest the groups tab than an alphabetical list. I know I am always looking for that button immediately after clicking on items.

Add individual items to bundles
I would like the ability to add specific items to bundles. Scenario: I have 6 camera kits but located in 3 different locations. A team going to arizona wants to use a camera bundle but the system only allows for groups instead of location specific items. My bundle should say arizona camera kit and should reflect that that is what is reserved for them.

I would love it if you could get back to the asset subgroup or just follow the same path you took when working on an asset.

Resize width of columns and sort by group
In asset listing would be useful to be able to resize the width of columns (and have it done company-wide) and sort by the "Group" field. Alternatively if the webapp was responsive and used the full width of the page (and automatically resized columns based on that)

- You can sort asset listing by Group.
1) Customize your asset listing to include group. Asset listing customization option is available at top right corner of the table (3 gray dots).
2) Once you have the Group column in your asset listing, simply click on the column heading to sort items by group.
3) A second click on the column heading will reverse the sorting order -

Print a QR code for a location
Ability to print a QR code for a location so we can scan the qr code and it will bring up the inventory at that location.

Edit Depreciation Value
To whom it may concern:
I was attempting to edit the depreciation value of the assets that we have in the company and it looks as though it's locked. add Print Label with QR code for Packages & Bundles
It would be great to print a label for assets that is specific to it's package or bundle. This would allow labels and QR codes to help tie assets together. For example: A label on a computer's wireless keyboard would refer back to the package that keyboard is attached to - that way it's easier to keep assets organized while checked out. Labels could also be printed and attached to boxes or cases that contain the package.

Add Bold, Italics, and Underline font options for label text.
It would be great to have the standard formatting options for the text in labels - bold, italics, and underline. This would make it easier for certain text to stand-out, even while constrained to small label sizes.

Ability to Duplicate Print Label Templates
It would be very helpful to be able to duplicate a Label Template. This would allow saving the overall layout and widgets used, but provide ability to edit specific texts particular to specific assets or groups.

Improve label editor
It is very difficult to use the label editor for small sizes (e.g. 1.1"x0.75" or 1.1"x1.75"). Text boxes overlap and it takes a lot of trial and error to get it right. If nothing else, I would like a way to edit the template at larger than actual size. It would be much easier to arrange fields.

This is scheduled for our August release.For now, you can zoom into the web page (Ctrl++)
