not make the messages counter red when it is 0 (zero)
Naturally people associate the red indicator with active notifications, if it is at 0 (zero) it should be be empty or the color should be blue to match the nav bar.

Calendar Link
The calendar link doesnt work for me. I am trying to link the reservation queue into my computer calendar.

Allow Individual Pieces of a Package to be Audited
When a package is created it would be nice to be able to audit the individual pieces of that package. So for example if you have a cordless drill and flashlight together in a package you would be able to ask for an audit on the package where the employee has to acknowledge that they have both pieces.

Show list of compatible devices
I would like to see a complete list of all compatible devices. For example (and could someone answer this for me), is it compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 running Android 4.2. Note this a wifi only device.

Add packages to bundles
It would be nice to link a bundle, ie camera package, to a bundle of items or even to other packages.
7 votesApologies for the delay. This has been delayed because of the recent re-do of bundles. You can try out the updates. Adding bundles to bundles is not yet supported.

How do you clouse out of a downloaded document in the iPad?
When accessing a document within an asset on the ipad, how do you get out of the document without having to close down the app and restart it? When you select download it opens the document just fine, but can't find the way to exit that document and get back to the app. Having to actually close the app down and relog in which is not effective. Thoughts?

Remember my last Filter option.
Whenever I go to my assets I have to click which Filter I would like to use every time. It would be great if you could enable an option for it to remember what filter you used last. That way when I go to my assets it it already set to "Group by name." It would save a lot of clicking over time!

Edit cart items
As of now I cannot have employees fill a cart and then delete individual items from it. I would like to see the ability to have actions in a cart. Maybe: remove item from cart and maybe service items in cart.

suggestions mechanism leading to better automated servicing and other sugaring
When you know some information you can guess various services automatically.
examples
* computer type, model, purchase date, and a warranty length (or warranty expiry date), can help to guess warranty is due to expire.
* knowing printer's model, and paper usage can help to guess when the cartridge service is required.
* knowing how many coffee cartridges are used by a coffee machine can allow you to guess when to order cartridges, and so on.1 vote -

if groups and subgroups are supported,
the custom fields should be possible to associate to subgroups too.
Otherwise, if you have a specific "schema" of equipment in mind, a suggestion should be made to divide the equipment into specific groups/subgroups4 votesThis is on our roadmap but we’d not be tackling it in near future.

currently the default URLs are http://, and https:// works.

Upload asset images directly from your phone
When I was using my phone, I was not able to upload asset images from my photo library.
I tried it on a Samsung S5 phone and Nexus 7, when I click on the upload button from the edit page the phone doesn't do anything.

Mobile App
I am having an EXTREMELY difficult time managing the EZ Office Inventory mobile app. I brought up the menu so that I could select the option to scan a label, which worked fine - but, now there's nothing I can do make the sidebar menu go away. I've even tried signing out and signing back in.
1 voteThis may happen due to sluggish internet/data connectivity. Can you confirm that you’re able to browse the internet without any issues.
Is this the first occurrence of this issue or have you seen this before? If yes, which phone are you using?

Remove the check-out inheritance from assets when cloning.
When cloning an asset to save setup time, the member checking out the original, checks out the clone as created. The administrator must check in the asset after the clone is created. This generates an erroneous check-out email notification to the member that checked-out the original asset.
1 voteThis should not be happening. All newly created clones of an asset are in available state.
Can you send us an email at support@ezofficeinventory listing the exact steps when you saw the check out being copied to the clone. We’ll take a detailed look into what caused this issue.
